  We can't thank ‘Down For The Count' enough for providing such incredible live music and excellent service for our wedding and making a special day extra special. The music was of such a high standard the band were the talk of the evening. Everyone was asking 'where did you find them they're amazing!’ and many people felt like they were at a concert! The band got everyone on their feet dancing and mingling together from 2-92 year olds. It was just as I had dreamed and ended the evening on an incredible high. The band were the easiest planning part of the whole wedding for us as Mike was super quick at responding to my questions providing a friendly, professional and efficient service. Band leader for the evening Kate made everything run smoothly, and she was lovely and reassuring even when things were running a bit late. You're a lovely group of talented people who deserve every success that comes your way!

  You wouldn't guess from my comments that I'm rarely pleased. This event was a personal one, but I book 3 or 4 acts a week in my day job. This band gets 10/10. Professional, flexible, friendly, skilled and very low-maintenance. Mikey is a true band-leader. Katie is beautiful and has a lovely voice. The boys in the back are real professionals. The Alive Network booking process made the booking very easy.

I have never seen so many people on the floor at one time and for so long. Just amazing. I am so grateful that my son Henry found you on the net. We now have to find an excuse for another party!!   The band were absolutely fantastic and the guests thought so too. The trio were perfect for the drinks reception and the seven piece so good that guests thought it was the iPod playing initially! The male and female vocalists were flawless!

  We were absolutely delighted with The Swing Smiths. They were the perfect choice for our wedding and had a great variety of songs matching the style we wanted. They were friendly and professional and looked great as a group. All of our guests had a brilliant time and were rarely off the dance floor!

  We wanted to thank you and the band for the fantastic music at our wedding on the 8th September. Sorry for the delay in contacting you, we got back from honeymoon early October and reality of being back to work etc. is finally sinking in! We thought the music throughout the evening was brilliant. Your duo during dinner really added to the atmosphere and created a lovely backdrop for the dinner service. Then the full evening set was just fabulous, so many of our guests have commented on how the vocals and music were excellent. Please pass on our thanks to the rest of the band, especially for accomodating the restrictions on time during the evening, we appreciate you playing until 11.30pm. Thank you very much and we would happily recommend you to anyone considering booking for other functions.
